Upgrade from Redirector to Enterprise

Hi,

If I upgrade from redirector to BES,
Do I need to reinstall Desktop Manager on his PC and change it from redirector to connect to BES or it will change by itself?
Do we really need Desktop manager if we sync wirelessly?

I believe when I first installed our BES, there was nothing to do on the client. BES just took over once the account was added.

I haven't found a way to set up new BB's and get an encryption key etc without using Desktop Mgr for the initial setup. Maybe someone else has?
