HI ALL,(Thanks in advance)

I have a small single domain network with 1 PDC and 2BDC's running NT 4.0 and about 10 servers running WIn2k AS and 2 other servers running NT 4.0. We have an internal domain ex. jellydonut and we have a registered domain name ex. hotcoffee.com. I am not sure on the upgrade which name to use when it comes up to the FQDN entry...

My plan is to take the PDC offline and make one of the BDC's a PDC and upgrade the newest BDC to win2k Adv.Ser. with AD. I just want to make sure that I enter the correct domain name so all of the users can sign on.

thanks.....

You should use your internal domain name for users to log on to. I take it you are not hosting your external domain yourselves - you are using your ISP to host it.
