Upgrade from CM5.2 to R6?

Can some advice me to the restore the data from CM 5.2 to CM 6?I have tried to take back from using network as CM 5.2 itself and copied to my laptop usinf WINSCP and restored to NEW CM 6,but its not get restored giving me error "backup: 60: request had

you need to install a pre upgrade patch on the 5.2.1 This adds a new link on the web interface, allowing you to do a migration to 6.0 FTP the migration backup to your laptop, install 6.0 and upload the migration backup to the server. There will be a check box to force the upload if name of servers do not match. Good luck.
