Upgrade from BCM200 to 400 1

Is there an upgrade path from a 3.6 or 3.7 BCM 200 to a v4 BCM 400

Or will it mean a maintenance licence swap and full reprogram

Nope. New h/w and reprogramming. Talk to Nortel and see if they'll at least migrate your keycodes (Vmail, etc) to the BCM 400. If yes they'll have to convert them to the Rls 4 format.

imho - 200 is a really a badly positioned product

priced lesser than 400, but effectively 'smaller' capacity than 50, but priced higher than 50

Its almost christmas wishtime again - wish they'd change the MSC arch. and maybe call it BCM200e and allow for the exp module to be added (i think thats all futile with the 450 being out)

Well yes but it was a well placed product until the 50 came out, i think a big drawback is no migration paths between the BCM range..
