Upgrade from 6.3 to 7.x

We have 150 media gateways with s8300 that will be upgrading over the next 6 weeks. I heard (with no evidence) that there is a way to upgrade the core and push v7.x to the remote s8300's.

Has anyone heard of this and if so can you give me a start as to where to go for instructions?
