Upgrade from 6.2 => 7.2 on Windows adv Server

We're planning on migrating from networker 6.2 to version 7.2 On windows 2000 AVD server.

Does anyone knows the process of upgrading to networker 7.2 from release version 6.2. I'm worried about licensing.

You must have an update license for NW 7.x. I recommend to add it already before the update.
