Upgrade from 6.0 (30BwE02 NAT) to 7.0

Hello,

My company is looking to upgrade our phone system from 6.0 to 7.0. We would like to know if there is any issues with this upgarde, and also if this will cause any problem will our CallPilot 100 (software version 1.5.32.01)

As per compatibility doc CP 3.0 is required for Norstar 7.0
So upgrade CP first, before the system

Curious: Why are u upgrading?

We want to install a PRI on our system, and as well maybe adding a second combo card, which I think you need to have the XC software. As we would have to upgrade the software I want to know if there were any issues with VM or any problem doing the upgrade.

Also one more thing I forgot to ask, if we went with a 6.1 upgrade instead of 7.0 would we have to upgrade the CallPilot?

The CallPilot would not need an upgrade if KSU is 6.1.
However there are several compelling reasons to upgrade to 3.0 regardless.
The old addage states if it ain't broke then don't fix it.
However if you upgrade to 6.1 you will likely end up with a non maintenance rel 2 version.
I would suggest you upgrade to CP3.0 and 7.0 XC if you are installing PRI on Norstar. Earlier versions are just nasty when supporting NI2 in Norstar.
