Has anyone had any experience with upgrading to CCM 6.0 from Symposium 5.0. I am planning an upgrade in the near future. The last upgrade I did had a huge amount of problems upgrading from 4.2 to 5.0 and it finally took a custom patch from Nortel to successfully upgrade. I am just looking to find out if anyone has encountered problems with this type of upgrade and what to expect.

Upgrade from 5.0 to CCM 6.0

Well....
We have just upgraded from rls 25.40 to 4.5 (inc processor upgrade) upgraded 1 sccs 5 to ccms successfully installed License manager, new replicated ccma. this has been done/in process of being done to our 3 major call centres and so far has been pain free except for tonights upgrade work..... with one of our ccms not acquiring phonesets.
As with any work it's down to the devil in the detail. but you can't always get it right.
I would say it's a fairly pain free experience as long as it's all planned and you have a back out plan as we do (and are about to put into place)
It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.
