I am working in an environment which has 3 Meridian 1 option pbx's. 2-opt 81c's and an opt 61. I am running MAX and MTE via serial connection to the Max/Mte.

We will be upgrading to 6.x TCS and I would like to know a couple of things re: serial connectivity. I need to confirm that the new TCS and the existing scenario is basically compatible and if not what do we need to do to make it work? My dept. will NOT put any kind of dollars into the existing Meridian scenario due to the fact wwe will be going to the Cisco VOIP solution within 18 months. I would like to know if there is anyone here that could provide any assistance on this and help pre-engineer this issue? Thanks!
