Guys,

Obviously I will need to upgrade my Extremes to SSH version according to a reply to my previous threat (running non-ssh on my switches).

Is the SSH version free? If so, what version do you recommend?

Thank you in advance.

I'm not sure if you're running wireless on the 300-24 or not, but if you are using Extreme's Altitude APs beware of going past code 7.2 or 7.3 (can't remember which). Instead of using the code for the Altitude's "brains" they went with a required separate tftp server on levels above 7.2 or 7.3 .

With regard to the SSH version, I think they only allow downloads for existing customers. (The most current is 7.8.2) At least for me I have to log in to get to the request for SSH versions. Not 100 percent positive though, sorry.

Thanks, I contacted Extreme Networks, they gave me access to SSH version of Extremeware.

Thank you!

regards,
