Upgrade Exchange 2000 to Enterprise Edition

Does anyone have any experience of upgrading Exchange 2000 Standard Edition to Enterprise Edition? We are looking to do this and I would appreciate if there are those that have completed the transition who could give us some advice, or tips on what to look out for.

Nothing to look out for really. You just pop in the Enterprise CD and run the install.

It will stop your services, so I'd recommend doing it off hours, but other than that, I had no issues.

Thanks. How long does it take to do the upgrade?

Have you by chance ever done a Win2k Server to Win2k advanced server upgrade? If so is there anything to look out for there?

Plan for 30 minutes total, but it really shouldn't take even that long. Depends upon your server, if it's a fast server, a lot less.
