Upgrade Error 3.6 to 4.0

Hi all,

Had a strange problem with an upgrade from 3.6 to 4.0. After running thru the system Health check I get an error that says the following: MISSING EXPECTED FILE KSUVERSION.TYP WHICH IS NEEDED TO DETERMINE CORE LOAD.

After that error the upgrade aborts.

Any ideas?

Shutdown the bcm, power off, power on then wait 10 minutes for it to boot completely and talk with the MSC then retry the pre-check tool.

Tried that, still the Same error.

run the initialization profile. it may not have been done in the past..

make sure you apply the APACHE fix first...
