upgrade domain to Windows 2003 from Windows 2000

Hope everyone is doing well.

So, this company I'm doing technical projects for has Active Directory.. seems like all their domain controllers are Windows 2000 server but need to become Windows 2003.

Is this a major issue? How can I upgrade these servers to Windows 2003 and enhance my AD structure to 2003.. we are going to use existing equipment for this -reuse existing domain controllers..

any info would be greatly appreciated..
