Hello,
I have been asked by a family friend to investigate upgrading a dBase III accounting package into something much more user friendly that works in a Windows environment. I have limited experience in toying around with SQL and Access, but have never used dBase, or for that matter, much DOS.
I have looked for information on using the new dBase SE software, but can't seem to find any posts of people who have used it.
Is there anybody out there who has used dBASE SE and can give an opinion as to how it worked for them?
Specifically, how difficult is the conversion and are there any issues that should be accounted for before the conversion takes place?
Thanks a lot,
Richard.
