Upgrade Btrieve 6.10 to 6.15

Hi,
We developed a 32 bit application to access the Btrieve database (on Novell Netware 4.11 ) from a Windows 2000 machine using C language. It was tested successfully with a 10 user licence of Btrieve for Netware 6.15. Now, our problem is, we have to change the data source from Btrieve 6.15 to Btrieve 6.10 ( production system ). The following are the options we have looked at and need your help:

1. Upgrade Btrieve 6.10 to Btrieve 6.15 ( because 6.10 does not support 32 bit application ). Where can we get an update / Patch for upgrading 6.10 to 6.15.

2. We downloaded a patch BTRNW615.exe, but, it expects a 6.15.x version (lower than 6.15.451) of BTRIEVE.NLM, and does not update the 6.10f version of the BTRIEVE.NLM.

3. What version of the NOvell Netware comes packaged with Btrieve for Netware 6.15?

4. Can we upgrade the no of user licences from 10 users to unlimited users? and how?

To answer your questins:
1. Unless you can find a copy of Btrieve 6.15, you won't be able to upgrade. The Pervasive web site (

http://www.pervasive.com)

has a trial version of Pervasive.SQL 2000 (the current version) but 6.15 has been unsupported for a couple of years now.

2. The BTRNW615 patch is strictly for Btrieve v6.15. It can't be used with 6.10. The 6.10F is the latest version of 6.10.

3. NetWare 5.0 and earlier ships with Btrieve 6.10. NetWare 5.1 ships with Pervasive.SQL 2000. No version of NetWare ever shipped with Btrieve 6.15.

4. The only user count upgrade for Btrieve 6.15 involves a full install of the new user count. There's no patch or user count upgrade for 6.15. For Btrieve 6.10, it had an unlimited user count.
