Upgrade Boot ROM before IOS?

Hi,

I need to upgrade a router from 11.2 to IOS 12.0, but need to know if I first need to upgrade the Boot ROM and if so, how...

Hi Yoggit,
The boot ROM is what is loaded if a router cant find an IOS in Flash or by other means. It has no bearing on the actual IOS that you are running. So just go ahead and upgrade your router. Be sure to take a backup of the current IOS first.
