I have a question about upgrade ARCserver R12 SP1 to R16 SP1.
From ca support it says "However, if you wish to retain the database information from your previous implementation, you must upgrade the previous implementation to CA ARCserve Backup r12.5 GA release (with no SP), and then upgrade from CA ARCserve Backup r12.5 to this release. "
But we don't have R12.5 installation files at the moment. Does that means if we want to directly upgrade ACRserve from 12.0 to 16, we have to backup the database first, then upgrade software, then import the database to the new version?
If it is, can anyone give me a little suggestion how to export/import database from R12.0?
