In Project Properties there's a checkbox that says "Upgrade Active X Controls." Obviously it upgrades Active X controls, but can someone explain this to me in a little more detail? Thanks in advance.

As found by pressing the 'Help' button (I know it's hard to see :))

VB help said:
Upgrade ActiveX Controls
When selected, the project automatically updates the ActiveX controls if you installed a newer version of them on your machine since the last time you opened the project. If a newer version of an ActiveX control is available and this option is not selected, a dialog box prompting you to upgrade the control appears. This option is selected by default.

:) Thanks. Actually, I need to reinstall VB on my pc because the help files aren't there. I have MSDN Library on my pc, but you can't navigate to it from the Help menu.
