After developing a db in access 2000 we are contemplating distribution, which will require the license. It looks like Visual Studio Tools for the Microsoft Office System has as part of it Access 2003 Developer Extensions which will do the job.
Am I looking for trouble by going to Access 2003? I use DAO but don’t have tons of code so it shouldn’t be a problem if I need to go to ADO. I wouldn’t mind using whatever distribution products are available for A2000 but really don’t want to have to purchase a newer version in the future.
Any suggestions?
