Can you upgrade a Norstar 3x8 to DR5?

I believe so. You just change the cartridge. Is it modular? I have an old modular i think is a 3X8 that is expanded and has DR5.

The norstar 308 system comes as one unit and no s/w cartrige external like the 616 or 824 ,so either you will have 308 DR 1 or DR5.1 ,You can't upgrade you have to swap the unit.Sorry for the bad news. Good Luck!
