upgrade 11.1.0.0.0 to 11.1.2.0.0

We had an issue on VM Pro 11.1.0.0.0 making all wave files cpos files instead of wave files. in order to fix the issue we attempted to upgrade to 11.1 service pack 2 which was part of the fix for the known issue. The upgrade went well at first, it transferred the files to the appropriate units, and it came up and requested to proceed with the upgrade. i pressed yes... and it started, but each module "Failed to Backup" and the upgrade failed I Rebooted the control unit and tried it again with the same result. I have done many many upgrades over the years, but never had this issue.

Anyone have an answer on this issue?

 
1 - Turn OFF Windows firewall before starting the upgrade.
2 - When prompted for a password enter the "System Password" which is different than the "Administrator" password. The default is "password".
 
the new VMPRO uses OPUS as the sound file format. It can still make use of wave files, but new stuff created by VM is going to be opus.

Do you have any info on these changes to OPUS?

Manuals still have very little info on the changes Avaya makes on how the new OPUS has to work.
We constantly have problems with OPUS vs WAV files in each new release that we try.
