upfISAPI.DLL

I have installed Version 7.0 on a new Microsoft Windows server, and I am trying to install the upfISAPI.dll gateway.
I used the Configuration Manager to change the Web Program Alias in the Upfront components Gateway to:

/cognos/cgi-in/upfISAPI.dll

and the Gateway URL in the Upfront Server Group to:

http://gnvl-apps4/cognos/cgi-bin/upfISAPI.dll

(gnvl-apps4 is my server name)

When I go to Upfront through Internet Explorer, it doesn't work. Do I have to do something else to complete my change?

which part of the configuration have you changed her I think you only need to change the web alias to point to the new upfISAPI.dll. (not sure you need to do this)

Can you still use the old address in IE:

http://gnvl-apps4/cognos/cgi-bin/upfcgi.exe

Is your web-server secured so that dll can not be executed ?
