updating WordPress and Plugin?

Wordpress is a kind of dynamic website where more users can edit the whole website and Wordpress allow their users to update their theme as well as the whole platform. my only concern is that whenever anyone with Wordpress they should understand how many plugins they need to integrate because after plugins get update the website needs time stabilized itself.
