updating the same record using a data access page 1

What happens if two people try to update the same record but different fields on an Access 2003 data access page?
Is that even possible?

I don't really know, but testing the scenario should be easy enough. Open two browsers and see what happens.

Thanks. There is a wealth of information there. What I needed to know is if a data access page deals with updating data differently than a form does. In other words, does it update all the data on the form or just the field that was changed. Changing just the field would allow two people to change different fields at the same time. Does it send back just the key field data and the data from the field changed or does it send all the fields in the data access page back?
