Hi,
I am looking to update a table column that has all the data
in upper case at the moment. I want to convert this to Capitalised case.
What's the easiest way of achieving this ? (2000 or so records).

thanks in advance.

Use the StrConv function.

Update table Set col1=StrConv(col1, 3)

3 is the conversion argument for Proper Case. Be aware that this isn't a perfect solution because data with embedded single quotes (') may not be properly capitalized. for example; O'Reilly will become O'reilly. Terry L. Broadbent
