Hi,

I am new to Informatica.... I am trying to find a way to implement a simple mapping..

I am reading records from a table , where i multiple columns, and also have a column "transdate" , this column will be null, and after successfully pulling the data from this table, i need to update that column with the sysdate.

Can some one please tell me how to do this.

You can define a post-SQL statement where you code the update on the source (upon success/failure). You can find it is the target or else in the session override.
Alternative is to build a 'dummy' mapping that updates the source-table with the sysdate. (which will involve a bit of trickery)
