When i install my system at the client-end i would like to change his regional settings of Currency and Date to suit Indian standards. (Rs. and "dd/MM/yyyy"). How can i acomplish this . . .either through VB code or through the Setup program. . please assist.

You can change the registry settings to change the regional settings. The settings below are for England (I don't know the locale setting for India)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International

Shortdate "dd/MM/yyyy"
Locale "00000809"

To do this you would need to run VB as VBA does not seem to have the capability to chage certain parts of the registry (the getsetting and setsetting functions would not work).

You will find loads of examples of VB on the net.

You can run external programs from VBA with the shell command.
