I have a form which lists multiple records from a table (each record only needs one field updated), and which also contains a control button. If the user enters a value in this one field of a record on the form, then clicks on the control button, the value is not recorded in the underlying file. How can the record in the underlying table be updated when the control button is clicked?
Thank you in advance for any help and advice,
TracySHC

What is this control button for?
You may add a simple SaveRecord command in the event procedure of that control button.

DoCmd.DoMenuItem acFormBar, acRecordsMenu, acSaveRecord, , acMenuVer70
