updating modified reports.dic and forms.dic

I have been trying to sucessfully update these two dictonaries. I get the big red X. Does that mean that they will never update correctly. It looks like the forms.dic updated correctly but not the reports.dic. I have read and tried all the tech notes listed on the GP site. So, from here do I need to manually go in and test and fix all reports?

need a bit more info on what is requiring you to upgrade.

versions etc.

one trick luvsql taught me is to:

from previous version, export and save as package files each of the modified reports and then re-import them into a new report dictionary and then try to do the upgrade.
