Hi,

I want to update the Location document on a no. of laptop users to change the Catalog Server field. Someone in this forum has given the script content also. But I should make that script using which editor and what should be the extension of that script and how it can be executed.

I am new to Lotus Notes and with no programming skill. Please guide me.

Thanks

You need the Notes Designer, the script, and a heavy dose of care.
You will need, in the Designer, to create a Script Library where you will put the code you apparently have.
Then you will probably need to create a button which calls the library and executes the code.
It would be a very good idea to have someone on site to help you.

Or you could just send a mail to the people concerned and ask them to change manually. It'll probably be quicker that way.

Pascal.

Ok thanks a lot for the info, Even i dont want to make it complex, It will be easier for me to ask the people to change it manually.
