Updating from Tomcat 5.0.9 to 5.5.9

Hi there...
How do I update from Tomcat 5.0.9 to Tomcat 5.5.9?? I'm using JDK 1.5 and Windows 2000. Can I just run the executable that I downloaded from

http://archive.apache.org/dist/jakarta/tomcat-5/v5.5.9-alpha/bin/jakarta-tomcat-5.5.9.exe

and install it where the old version was installed (C:/Tomcat)?

If you used the tomcat installer, then just uninstall the old version, and install the new one.
