Updating fields in a record based on an excel file without linking

We have several geographic networks within our company and we are working on a project that will deploy some things do different georgraphic areas. The project is being tracked via an access database on the home office network. Each geographic area has an excel file they are updating on their local network.

Is there a way to setup a macro to update the master database on our home office network based on their local excel files? I do not want to link the datbase to the spread sheet because their location may move many times.

Do you want Access to just use its intuition? <g>

It sounds like you're going to have to link to things manually, or import manually.
