Updating Excell 95 to XP

I have an excell based application which is very large and many extensive macros. I want to upgrade to office xp but Windows XP says it only supports office/windows 98.
Is there an upgrade path to get the application to work in xp? is there a way to get windows xp to run excell 95 product?

You will probably need to perform an intermediate step, such as upgrading to office 97 or 2000.

Currently, I have Office 2000 working on my Win XP system perfectly fine.
