Hi,

We have instructional documents on a database in Lotus Notes Notes (about 2,300) of them.

We need to update most of these owing to a software upgrade happening in August.

I am looking for ideas whereby people could still use existing notes while we have new notes tucked away out of sight.

Two or three people are updating the notes, so a local databasae is not an option. Getting another database on the system is going to be like pulling teeth.

If you have ideas, please post them.

Thanksx106

You could implement a publishing feature, by which new notes would be visible only to those writing them until they become published, at which point the restriction disappears.
Anything you want to "tuck away", you remove the published status and presto, you're done.

Pascal.

Thanks. I will give that a try.
