Hey Folks,

I got a quick quesiton, hopefully with a simple answer.

I created a "Default" roaming profile on our server for all new hires to get on their first login. Once they get the initial default, they can make the appropariate printer additions and so forth to make it their own, under their own profile name.

The default profile was created over a year ago. As our infrastructure has changed, we need to add more icons and remove others.

The question is that I can create a new default profile, but I am concern about uploading it to the server.

From my understanding of how profile works, the "newest" profile will take precedent. So if I put up a new "Default" profile, will exisiting users pick up this profile to?

I just want the new default profile to be available to new users only that currently don't have profiles.

Any help will greatly bee appreciated.

Ton

Dear Ton,

How did you create the 'Default' profile??

Create a new user and have that user log on to get the current default profile. Make your changes to what you want. Give this new user the permissions to access the default profile (if necessary), save the user's profile to the default profile. You can now discard the user you created for this purpose.
