Updating Datastore/Datawindow with XML string

Hello,
I've got a problem.
I am trying to update my Datastore/Datawindow using XML string which consists of all changed data (e.g. one row which has been changed).
Does anybody know how to do it?

There is possibility to import new data to the DS/DW using dw_object.importstring(XML!, "<xml><.......") but it is used only (am I right) to inserting nwe data...

Is there such a method/way to update data using XML

My guess is you will have to identify the row in the datastore corresponding to the XML row, parse through the XML and then use setitem to put the data into the datastore (or insert a new row if none exists in the datastore).
