Updating Business View Elements

Hi ,

I have created a report using a business view, and in the data foundation I have a parameter and a filter, which i initially gave rights to the "myuser" user.

This has worked fine when logging in as "myuser", and the parameter prompt and filter work as expected.

However i now wish to give rights to this parameter/filter to the administrators group. I have clicked on the edit rights button in my data foundation filter tab, and given rights to the administrators group. However when i open the report or try and view as the administrator i dont get asked for the parameter prompt, and so i get all records.

It seems although i have made the changes to the data foundation and changed the rights, these changes have not taken effect in my report, and my report is using the initial settings of my data foundation. How do i therefore update the report to use my modified settings ?

You apply the filter to the administrators group.

Edit the Data Foundation in the Business View Manaager.
Right Click the Filter that you want applied to the administrators group, and choose Edit Rights.
You can then apply the rights to the Administrators group.
