Updating autonumbers

Just wanted to know if its possible to fix my autonumber count in some of my tables

i.e.
1
2
3
10
12
13

There just way out of wack and for some reason it bugs me ( sigh! )

nope, you can't update autonumbers, they are out of wack because you created a record then deleted it and that row number doesnt come back.
