I tried importing the old database (designed by an ex-employee) and I could import all the objects except one object under "Reports". The error I got is "you don’t have permission to import, export or link to 'object name'. To import, export or link to this object, you must have Read Design and Read Data permissions for it." But I continued the import process in spite of this error. But the new application as guessed is not completely functional because of that missing report.

I even checked all the copies of the old databases and also the backups and I cannot access that particular report object. I think the ex-employee intentionally removed access to this object.

Can anyone suggest me a way around to get rid of this problem?

Thanks in advance.

What part isn't working? This is odd, because forms, queries, modules, etc. aren't based on reports. You can't link reports to tables and create relationships, so that can't be the reason.

Why can't you just use the old database if it works? Why import into a new MDB?
