updating a sub-form

I have a form (status change)
Attached to this form is a sub-form
(Job work flow) Witch lists all the dates
and times the job Has entered and
departed particularly Cost centers

Is there a way to have the date and times
enter automatically when the job enteres
the cost center and departs the cost centered

Any suggestions welcomed

Greg,

Someone or something has to be able to give access a stimulus that a job has entered/left a job center. If there is anything that causes someone in the job center to enter data during these two events then trigger a call to Date() to fill a field when that happens. If something causes the stimulus, like when UPS scans a bar code, you can do the same.
