Hello!

I have a problem with site updates.
I have one test server server1 and a
production server server2

I backed up the sites (SQL databases)on server2(prod)
and restored on server1(test).

After the restore I hade on server2(prod) a exact copy of the sites on server1(test).

The problem I face now is that when I make updates on server1 the other server server2 also gets updated.

I this a cache problem?

Are you absolutely certain that your web app or virtual servers are not pointed to the same content database on the same server?

I would go into central administration and make sure of the correct databases are mounted.

Thanks PatricktheAnalyst,

yes the server is pointing to the same content database.
I used the original config database, causing this.

I got around it creating a new config db on the new server.

Thanks for your time.
