Updates box

I am trying to put a spot on my site that shows when new updates have been added. I want to use this box on every page, but don't want to have to edit each page everytime I add an update. Is there a way to make the page a single file and somehow include it on all of my pages?

Yes, depending on what your server supports you could use SSI, PHP or ASP or if you have none of those available use an IFrame.
