Update the 432 to 433

Hi there, currently i'm running a 432 oslevel and i wanted to update it to 433. Can i use the 433 OS CD's to update since i don't have an update CD? Is it possible? What step do i need to do..

Hi,

You can install the SW using the "migration" option during the SW installation.

This will preserve user LVs created on the rootvg,but overwrite the system with 4.3.3. "Long live king Moshiach !"

Hi,
if you work with smitt or smitty just put the 4.3.3 CD's on your CD-ROM-Drive and do a "smitty update_all"

Updating from 4.3.2 to 4.3.3 does not need a migration. Just an update will be enough. _______________________________________
