Update spot to ML1

Hi,

I am trying to update my spot to AIX53 ML1 because when I run nim_clients_setup, it fails because the SPOT is older than the mksysb.
In smit fastpath nim_update_all I run the update but it does not seem to do anything. Output on screen appears saying "This may take several minutes", but the smit panel returns to the OK state and nothing happens.

Any ideas on how to update my spot to a new ML?
My OS is already on ML1.

Got it figured!

I ran the following
nim_update_all -d /directory/of/patch -s SPOT-resource -u –B

This will update the LPP resource from the directory specified by the –d flag, which in turn updates the SPOT, but the –u flag ignores the client objects and the –B flag ignores the mksysb resource.
You can verify it worked by running:
nim -o showlog name-of-SPOT-resource
