Update SP4 Suse 9 SLES

Hi,
I have updated a Suse 9 server (running on VMWARE) from SP3 to SP4.
The problem is thant now it can't find LV after the phase /dev/matter/control :
No volume group founds
I start with Knoppix, made a vgscan and vgchange -ay and Ican mount LV ...
Any Idea ?

Let's forget it ! I found ...
It's a vmware "problem", don't reset the machine but "power off" to clear caches ...
Now, the server is up ...

Well, it's not really a VMware problem, the same thing could happen to any system if you reset it before it had committed the cached data rather than rebooting it.
