I am currently exploring options to update an SAP field attribute based on the successful approval of a workflow in Content Server. Any advice on recommended approach?
The workflow attributes are expected to have table look up values for attributes (if available in SAP).It includes an attribute, (say Sales Price) and a new attribute New Sales Price. Once this new Sales price update request has been approved in the WF, this new Sales price is expected to be updated as the Sales Price in SAP. On a high level, i understand that if the corresponding BAPI calls responsible for attribute updation are called upon WF approval, this should be possible.
So would it mean there is no need of having a Solution accelerator to be deployed for that particular module; if so how could the SAP attributes be made available in WF attributes?
What mechanism can be used to inform SAP once the workflow is approved?
Appreciate any advice
Thanks!!
