Update regularly with data from Excel file

I have created a document that has a lot of manually entered text and tables. I have just been told that the tables will need to be updated about once a week with new data. There are probably about 1000 figures that will need to be updated each week - way too much to do by hand. Is there any way to set this up to easily update by just supplying a new file?
