Can anyone tell me what is worong with this query?

updateSelquery = "Update table Set field1 = " & var1 & " where field2 = " & var2

var1 and var2 are numbers.
Database is access
I am using adodb.connection object to execute

Any help welcome.

what's the error that you're getting? you're syntax seems to be correct...

Thank you for the reponse....
I was not converting the var2 earlier into integer.

It worked....

Are u familiar with remote Scripting???
I really need some help in that area.

A little bit -- but I stopped using it because of the additional filesize that each page incurs, along with the difficulty we were having debugging the code.

I might be able to help, and if i can't, i'm sure that someone here can.
