Hello, Everyone.
I think I know the answer to this, but I don't want to make any assumptions.

Does Crystal Reports have any method of updating dating before displaying reports?

I am pretty sure that it does not. I have an application that launches a crystal report.

What I am seeing is the data changing from before I run the report to after I run the report.

I am almost positive that it is the software making the update and then opening the report, but I just wanted to make double sure.

There a no triggers on the source table, and the Crystal version is 10.0,5.1506, SQL Server 2008.
Thanks all.
Patrick

While there are ways to update data from a report, they have to be specifically configured - as in when you use a stored procedure and it updates the data prior to returning the data set. Crystal itself won't update data.
