update poa/mta to 657 - mta locks up server

I have netware 6.5 with sp6

I updated poa/mta from 654 to 657

When the mta is loaded is locks up the whole system

I had to go back to the 654 mta.nlm to get it to work

Try running a validate on the domain database. Make sure that is clean.

Then run an analyze and fix on the complete Post office. Run that until only cosmetic errors are left.

What does the abend.log say?

I just did an upgrade from 656 to 657 with sp6. I had some trouble with Webaccess but nothing else.

I also did a recent update from 654 to 656 with no problems. If the clean up doesn't work try going to 656 first then 657.
